Interpreter Services

We can arrange a free interpreter for people who don't speak or understand English very well. Or if you have hearing problems.

The court can approve anyone involved in a court case to use an interpreter. Including young people and family members of young people involved in a court case.

As soon as you know the date of the court case, fill in the Interpreter Request Form and give it to the court registry. The court can then arrange the interpreter for you.

If you need help, call the Translating and Interpreting Service on 131 450. Ask them to contact the Children's Court for you to arrange an interpreter.
